Rattenberger Advent - Far removed from the pre Christmas hectic and overcrowded shopping centres this event never fails to charm its visitors. Instead of multicoloured artificial lights Rattenberg`s medieval setting is bathed in the warm light of open fires, torches and candles. Commercial stalls have deliberately been omitted and the restaurants and inns serve Tyrolean specialities and the excellent Rattenberg Advent wine from their originally decorated stalls.
