This family–run guesthouse in Kaprun is only 1.2 km away from the cable car station to the Kitzsteinhorn Glacier. A bus stop (ski bus in winter) is right in front. Gasthof Zur Künstleralm is 2.5 km away from the Maiskogel ski area. The Schmittenhöhe ski area in Zell am See is 10 km away. All ski areas can be reached with the free ski bus. Cross–country skiers can access the Pinzgau run in Kaprun. The restaurant serves Austrian and international cuisine. Half–board includes a rich breakfast buffet and a 4–course dinner. Various buffets are offered regularly on winter evenings. The Künstleralm has a TV room, a children’s playroom with tabletop football, a bar, and a rustic lounge with an open fireplace. In summer, there is a large garden terrace with a children’s playground. The sauna and the infrared cabin can be used free of charge in winter. Gasthof Zur Künstleralm offers free private parking. It is directly on a bicycle trail, and a fitness trail starts close by.
