Kitzbühel is the home of the Hahnenkamm Classic Ski Race and recreation haven for the rich and famous to rub shoulders. The Kitzbühel skiing sits between the Kirchberg and Jochberg ski areas. The 13 km ski run dropping vertically for 1200 meters is the longest run. The remaining of the ski runs are broken up into smaller segments, with reds having the most at 78 km, blues having 67 km and blacks including only 23 km. Cross-country crisscrosses the Kitzbühel area with 120 km of classic runs.
