Obergurgl – Hochgurgl – Ski Holidays With Snowy Slopes

Obergurgl and Hochgurgl are yet another vista-filled, sun-rayed, snow-swept Austrian ski resort among mountains, glaciers and alpine allure. All of these things and more can be taken in with a ride up the “Top Express” gondola, which also links Obergurgl and Hochgurgl to each other. The highest 2150-meter altitude sure seems higher when overlooking the rest of the mountains. The lowest altitude for skiing in both Obergurgl – Hochgurgl is 1800 meters. Obergurgl – Hochgurgl is connected to Sölden, so the right lift ticket gets skiers and boarders to over 250 km of skiing. Obergurgl – Hochgurgl itself has 110 of kilometers spread over 27 total runs. The longest being 8 km with a vertical drop of 1260 meters. All these ski runs hold some challenging blues, reds and blacks, e.i., that every level will have enough challenges to aid improvement on the slopes. There are 12 blue runs traveling for 35 km, 11 red runs careening for 55 km and 4 black runs meandering for 20 km, drag and chair lift with the gondola for quick lift. Obergurgl – Hochgurgl offers cross-country skiing, ice-skating, snowboarding, ice curling and snowshoeing. Wintertime deals keeps the skiers coming but all the runs are always fully groomed like virgin slopes.
