The hotel has many areas to sit, relax and pass the time in, including a Rupertistube, a hotel bar and "Zirmstube". Relaxing next to a warm tiled stove, you can enjoy coffee, tea, or a great cocktail.
A 10–minute walk from the centre of Saalbach, Vital–Hotel Sonne offers a spa area with an indoor pool. All rooms have a balcony and a flat–screen satellite TV.
The spacious rooms feature a seating area and a bathroom with hairdryer. They are either decorated in a country style with light wood and carpeted floors, or in a modern style with dark wood and wooden floors.
Spa facilities at Hotel Sonne include various saunas, steam baths, and infrared cabins, a fitness centre, and a beauty studio.
Half–board includes a large breakfast buffet with organic dishes, and a choice of healthy options for dinner.
Free private parking is available on site. Hiking and mountain bike trails start right outside. In winter, the cable cars and ski slopes can be reached with the hotel’s private ski shuttle free of charge.
In summer, the Joker Card is included in the rate. This card comprises many free benefits and discounts in the Saalbach–Hinterglemm region.
