This charming hotel enjoys a very quiet yet central location at the foot of the Hirschenkogel mountain, only a few metres away from the valley station of the Zauberberg cable car. Located the amidst the beautiful landscape of the Semmering, Hotel Sonnwendhof offers comfortable rooms with natural wood furniture, a terrace café with panoramic views, and a new sauna area with a relaxation room and a solarium. A rich breakfast buffet is served in the Panorama Restaurant. In winter half–board includes a 3–course dinner with a choice of dishes in a cosy atmosphere. You will be on the ski slopes in just a few minutes and get back directly to the hotel via a separate downhill run. The Sonnwendhof is also located on the hiking trail to the Hirschenkogel and Sonnwendstein mountains. The Semmering offers fantastic conditions for hiking, mountain biking, Nordic walking, paragliding, summer tobogganing, golf, cross–country skiing and skiing. It is located halfway between Vienna and Graz and is only a 1–hour drive away from Vienna.
