Surrounded by the scenic Dolomites, Hotel Gesser enjoys a quiet location close to the centre of Sillian in East Tyrol’s Puster Valley. It offers rooms with free Wi–Fi access. The Gesser’s rooms have a refrigerator, a seating area or work desk, an LCD satellite TV, and a bathroom with hairdryer. Most have a balcony or terrace. The restaurant offers Tyrolean and Mediterranean cuisine and a selection of fine wines. A rich breakfast buffet is served in the morning. Half–board includes a 3–course dinner with a salad buffet or a selection of dishes and fine wines from the menu. Hotel Gesser has a Finnish sauna and provides deckchairs. The garden features a sun terrace, a sunbathing lawn, a children’s playground, and a ping pong table. A small indoor play area for children is also available. The Hochpustertal–Sextner Dolomiten ski area is 7 km away, and the Hochpustertal–Thurntaler ski area is 700 metres away. The ski bus stop is directly in front of the hotel and the valley station of the cable car is a 2–minute bus ride away. The Dolomiti NordicSki cross–country ski area is only a 5–minute walk from the hotel. A ski storage room and a ski boot dryer are provided. Parking spaces and a small shelter for motorcycles and bicycles are available free of charge.
