St. Anton –St. Christoph-Stuberg – Ski Arlberg, or the un-hyphenated version is commonly known as St. Anton am Arlberg (with St Christoph-Stuberg), located in Tyrol in Austria, a major player in the Arlberg Ski Area. All these abovementioned ski areas—including Lech and Zür—can be linked with the ski lift pass, though cable cars and ski buses work together to take skiers and boarders back and forth. St. Anton –St. Christoph-Stuberg – Ski Arlberg makes up 276 km of skiable terrain, with 85 total ski runs: with 108 km of blues, 138 km of reds and 30 km of blacks, it’s easy to see why St. Anton am Arlberg (with St. Christoph and Stuberg) make all levels and abilities feel comfortable skiing here. The longest vertical drop served by cable car is just over 1500 meters, and 80% of the slopes can be showered with 418 snow cannons. The Valluga, the tallest mountain in the area, surrounds the skiing and snowboarding areas. All this skiing starts in January and ends in April, so though the season is not Europe’s longest, visitors are guaranteed a snow-filled, virgin-powdered ski vacation.
