Situated next to the cable car, the family–run Hotel–Pension Gschwentner provides easy access to the Steinplatte Ski Area. It offers free Wi–Fi, a sauna and a solarium. All rooms have a balcony, a private bathroom and a satellite TV. The centre of Waidring is only a 5–minute walk away from the Hotel–Pension Gschwentner. Cross–country skiing tracks and winter hiking trails pass next to the hotel. There is also a sunbathing lawn and a terrace and the nearby Pillersee Lake amid the Kitzbühel Alps is great for bathing.
