This historic castle from the 16th century offers light–flooded rooms and suites with beautiful lake views, as well as an excellent restaurant. The rich breakfast buffet is available until 11:00. Coffee, cakes and small snacks are served in the afternoon. The gourmet restaurant Wintergarten was awarded 2 toques by Gault Millau. It serves Austrian and Mediterranean cuisine and offers a wide selection of wines from the well–stocked wine cellar. The winter garden and the terrace offer panoramic views of the lake, the town and Ort Castle. The way from the lake to Schlosshotel Freisitz Roith leads through the romantic castle garden.
