This completely newly furnished 4–star holiday hotel enjoys a central and quiet location at 1,000 metres above sea level in Werfenweng, one of the most beautiful high valleys in the province of Salzburg. Surrounded by a spacious garden, Ferienhotel Elisabeth offers beautiful views of the surrounding mountains, including the Hochkönig and the Tennengebirge and Hagengebirge mountain ranges. Here you will find a panorama restaurant, a hotel bar, a lobby with an open fireplace, a big sunbathing lawn, and the cosy Jagdstube parlour with its open fireplace. The internet terminal and wireless LAN in the lobby are both free of charge. All rooms are newly furnished and non–smoking. The hotel offers modern spa and vitality area, with a sauna, a herbal sauna, an infrared cabin, a brine steam bath, a massage parlour, a solarium, relaxation rooms, and water beds. A large, secure parking lot, which you can use free of charge, is right next to Ferienhotel Elisabeth. The beautiful surrounding landscape offers many leisure options, attractions, and hiking trails. There is a swimming lake with a leisure park. Hohenwerfen Castle is 7 km away, the Eisriesenwelt ice caves 10 km. The city of Salzburg is about a 30–minute drive away. In winter Werfenweng is the perfect place for skiing, cross–country skiing, winter hiking, and snowshoe hiking.
