OBS d.o.o. launches the internet platform MountVacation.com
Monday the 26th of May 2008 – Today, the company OBS d.o.o. is launching the platform MountVacation.com to complement its already established platform GoGoSKI.com.
With a fresher and more polished design than its older brother GoGoSKI.com, MountVacation.com widens the spectrum of mountain vacation and holiday packages offered in the more than 400 mountain resorts presented. More than a ski holiday catalogue, it also presents hotels, apartments and summer vacation packages. For the CEO of OBS d.o.o. Dejan Romih, "with MountVacation.com, OBS d.o.o. truly establishes itself as a year-round mountain vacation catalogue and booking platform."
MountVacation.com makes life easier both for mountain tourism clients and for mountain accommodation providers. The mountain lovers find a vast offer of mountain accommodations on a unique site, multilingual, safe and very easy to use. The partners, on the other hand, find a service that is free of charge and easy to use. MountVacation.com also has an advantage on other booking platforms, it reaches a precisely targeted clientele – the mountain tourism clients – with the largest choice of accommodations online.
Since MountVacation.com is commission based, it profits only if it directly helps generate income for its partner. Therefore, substantial investments are scheduled in PR campaigns and pay-per-click advertisement. The development of the program of search engine optimisation is also planned in the near future.
Before launching MountVacation.com, OBS d.o.o. has built GoGoSKI.com, the first mountain resort online catalogue and booking system. Founded in November 2007 by Dejan Romih, the company has won the Best Business Plan 2007 Competition organized by the main business institutions of Ljubljana, in Slovenia, where the company’s offices are located. It is also one of the promising startup companies members of L.U.I. and received investments from the Business Angels of Slovenia.
