About the ski resort La Mongie

The bottom of the Pic du Midi, Bigorre and Mongie-Bareges form the resort of Tourmalet, the greatest skiable area of the French Pyrenees. The resort has two different sections: on the western slope, Bareges offers you the traditional charm of a Pyrenees village. Mongie, on the other side, presents the conveniences of a hifh altitude resort.
Visit the museum of stars, opened June 1, the Peak of the South of Bigorre (2877 m) invites you to discover the mysteries of the universe, while passing by the Col of Tourmalet, renown location for cycling. For twenty centuries, hydrotherapy has been a highlight of the region.
