Les 2 Alpes - Ski Holidays, One and For All
Les 2 Alpes (Les Deux Alpes) isn’t talking about the number of massifs in the area. The number "two" alludes to Venosc and Mont De Lans, two small towns to the north and south. Les 2 Alpes is France’s second oldest ski resort, with Europe’s largest Mont-de-Lans glacier. Mont Blanc is 100km away, but The Dome Express underground funicular takes camera-happy visitors to 3500 meters for some amazing panoramic snapshots. The Les 2 Alpes skiing is just as impressive as its landscape. The Les 2 Alpes ski vacation gives maniacs of the moguls 3600 meters of slopes, with 104 ski runs, in all totaling 225 km. The longest run here goes for five kilometers. The biggest vertical drop is 2300 meters. A six-day ski pass gives skier and snowboarder uniform access to the whole area.
