Two-hour's drive from the Mediterranean coast brings you to St Jean Montclar, alpine village lying between the Northern Alps and Provence in the heart of the sunny side of the Alpine range.
It is set amidst an undulating landscape, "a piece of Swiss scenery under the Provençal sky", nestling below the Dormillouse mountain - altitude 2,500 metres - with a forest of evergreen and deciduous trees.
