Located in the French Alps

About the village
Val Thorens has many mountain restaurants but some of them can be a bit on the pricey side. One which offers inexepensive tasty meals is the

Roast Beef Restaurant which serves good old English grub along with a wide selection of beer. Another more traditional restaurant is the
Chalet Les Sonnailes which is very traditional and rustic. The resort is quite lively in the evenings with a nightclub and discotheque staying open until late. Accommodation in Val Thorens is varied and caters for all budgets and if you like the luxury of a hotel, Val Thorens offers some good deals. The resort is traffic free and a lot of the accommodation offers ski in and ski out accessibility.
