The Val di Fassa ski resort nestles snugly in the centre of the eastern dolomites surrounded by the spectacular peaks of the Sassolungo, Marmolada, Roda di Viel, Sella and the Catinaccio mountains. Val di Fassa ski holidays allow you to ski in a different area every day since the resort is part of the vast Domoti Superski Area and its 669 individual pistes.
The Val di Fassa lift pass allows to ski in the resorts of Trevalli and Carezza with a combined total of 65 pistes mostly suited to beginners and intermediates, serviced by 58 ski lifts. The runs comprise of 36 blue, 25 red and 4 black. Despite the numbers suggesting there is little for the expert skier, this is not actually the case. More advanced skiers can try out the Sellaronda or Tour of the Four Passes, the memorable Tour of the First World War or the Skitour Panorama. Families with children have ample choice including in San Pellegrino, Catinnacio, Buffaure and Ciampac. You can use the free ski bus all day, every day, to move from one area to another without ever having to worry about parking your car. In addition, Val di Fassa offers its visitors over 50 km of cross country trails including one illuminated circuit at Pozza di Fassa which lets you ski until 10 pm.

About the village

There are literally hundreds of bars, restaurants and cafes within the resort villages of Val di Fassa. The pizzerias and family restaurants offer good food that doesn't break the bank but if you really want to splash out then try the 1-star Michelin restaurant, The Malga Panna in Moena.
