Deep in the heart of Jämtland, the Are Continental Inn is situated just 5 km from the village of Are; one of Sweden's best and largest ski resorts. Are Continental Inn offers functional and pleasant accommodation with large, modern communal areas and striking views combined with well-equipped leisure facilities. The spacious guest rooms are practically furnished and many enjoy mountain views and include Tempur quality beds. Some public spaces were created by renowned Swedish designer Ralf Lindberg. The restaurant offers stunning views of Are Village, lakes and mountains. The food and décor is inspired by traditions from Jämtland and neighbouring Norrland. During winter half board is included, which means breakfast and a dinner buffet. This comes with free coffee, tea or lemonade, and after dinner ice cream for children. Drinks and light meals are available in the Grizzly Bar, pool and spa areas and even in front of the open fire in the cosy Moose Lounge. Please note that during summer and autumn the restaurant is closed apart from pre-booked groups or conferences. All guests receive free entrance to the Sport Club and can rent the VIP sauna that offers fantastic views. During winter, ski buses transfer guests to and from the slopes from just outside the hotel. Close to the hotel guests can try horse back riding, snow mobile tours, dog sledding, snow shoeing, paragliding, canyoning and hiking. Are's aim is to be as accessible to as many people as possible, so disabled persons are warmly welcomed and catered for. Totalskidskolan is Europes largest disabled ski school. The hotel also has a defibrillator and all personnel receive regular CPR training.
Situated in the Jämtland Province, Ã…re Continental Inn is located 5 km from the Ã…re Ski Resort. It offers free Wi–Fi and free pool, gym and sauna access. All the spacious guest rooms at Continetal Inn Ã…re have a private bathroom with shower. Each is equipped with a TV and work desk. The in–house restaurant offers stunning views of Ã…re town, Lake Ã…re and the mountains. The food and décor is inspired by local traditions. Other options include the Grizzly Bar or the cozy Moose Lounge, which has an open fireplace. During winter, ski buses transfer guests to and from the slopes from just outside Ã…re Continental. Horse riding, snow mobile tours and dog sledding can also be organized. The surrounding area is ideal for hiking and skiing. Lake Ã…re is located 500 metres away.
