Only 5 minutes' walk from the Rueras station of the Matterhorn–Gotthard railway, the Hotel La Val enjoys a central location in Sedrun–Rueras. It offers free Wi–Fi and free parking. The lifts of the Gotthard–Oberalp Ski Arena and the 9–hole Selva Golf Course are only 2 km away. Sedrun–Rueras is a convenient base for hikes to the springs of the Rhine river near the Oberalp pass. The Hotel La Val consists of 2 buildings connected by an underground corridor. In this connecting room, there is a lounge with an open fireplace. All rooms are equipped with a satellite TV. Fine Swiss cuisine and a wide range of drinks are served in the restaurant and the bar. In the lounge there is a self–service bar offering coffee and tea. A free transfer service from and to the Rueras train station, the mountain railways and the Wellness Bogn Sedrun Spa is available.
