About the resort

La Clusaz has developed over the years, whilst still retaining the charm of an authentic mountain village and iIn 2007 it will be celebrating 100 years of winter sports. Respectful of its traditions, yet forward thinking, La Clusaz has built a reputation for itself that is very different to that of the other French resorts ! Home to 8 world champions and talented freestylers, with its fabulous 400 hectare ski area, a large variety of runs and vertical drops, La Clusaz is undoubtedly the resort of all snowsports. Non-skiing visitors will also find plenty to enjoy amongst the twenty or so activities on offer and the numerous shops. La Clusaz also knows how to keep those in search of a lively nightlife happy : many bars, pubs, restaurants and nightclubs welcome the night owls. The dynamic resort also organises original and surprising events throughout the summer. A warm welcome and a lively winter guaranteed!
