About the resort

The main skiing hub in Val Pusteria. In the valley and on the slope: fun, great atmosphere, traditional mountain huts, regional delicacies, relaxing apres-ski. Modern lift facilities, unforgettable holidays. Winter can have a thousand attractions. In the Kronplatz holiday area around Brunico, San Vigilio di Marebbe and Valdaora the services on offer are very varied. Over 40 mountain huts and restaurants immediately adjacent to 105 km of skiing slopes invite you to take a break and sample the traditional food and drink on offer in a welcoming atmosphere. "Apres-ski" is taken very seriously in the places around the Kronplatz. The nightlife is also very enticing. The skiing area of Kronplatz has the most modern and comfortable lifts. The slopes are able to satisfy even the most demanding of skiers. Pure and simple, Kronplatz is one of the major skiing areas in South Tyrol. For families, there are wide, gentle slopes. However, that doesn't mean to say there aren't any more challenging runs for the expert skiers amongst you. By taking the new "Piculin" lift and the skibus there is now a direct connection to Alta Badia! Those of you who wish to practise cross country skiing can follow the routes that are used in the International Gsieser Tal Race in Gsieser Tal Valley.
