The Innsbruck fixed rope route – experience the fascination of the high alpine Innsbruck fixed rope route. The route goes from Hafelekar and across the langen Sattel (long saddle) to the Frau-Hitt Sattel. Head for heights, appropriate equipment, being sure footed and alpine experience are required for the tour. Use the route at your own risk.

The Innsbruck fixed rope route is under general reconstruction in a joint venture project that is being carried out by the Alpinschule (Alpine School) Innsbruck and the Tourismusverband (Tourism Association).

The airport and train station are merely 2 km away. The Innsbruck Glacier Ski Pass gives skiing enthusiasts and snowboarding freaks access to "count ‘em" 9 different ski areas, all close by. Places like Nordpark, Glungezer, Muttereralm, Schlick 2000 and Stubai Glacier are all on the same ticket - even the shuttle service to and fro is free-of-charge! Innsbruck Olympia Ski World also includes snowboarding, with half pipes, wave rides, jumps, boxes, corners, fun park and slides all dedicated to freestyle atmosphere. There are over 100 ski runs, and nearly three times as many (282) km of ski slopes, with the longest being just 10 km long - what a ride. Max. altitude of Innsbruck Olympia is 2256 meters, and draglift, chair lift or Gondola take skiers to the uttermost pinnacle.
